I'm working on an article which will become a short class.
Its about the biggest issue I feel hinders our profession.
It's the "Courage to Lead".
Think about it.
Would there be more training if every officer had the courage to lead?
Would performance issues be addressed if the supervisor had the courage to lead?
How many other issues would vanish overnight if everyone had the courage to lead?
So how do we start....
It starts with you.
Create a new rule for yourself.
If there’s something uncomfortable that you believe is important to say,
just say it.
Problems don't fix themselves.
Performance doesn't get better by sitting around.
